2026 MIDTERMS – ACTION DETAILS

Help Out on a Local Campaign:

  • Support Jonathan Godes: Godes is running for Garfield County Commissioner. MAGA Republicans have dominated the commission for decades. It’s way past time for change! Tasks may include distributing yard signs, knocking on doors, attending community events, etc. 

  • Support Dwayne Romero (CD3): We CAN flip this seat! Join the team and you will be provided with specific direction for tasks large and small suited to your availability and interest. 

  • Help spread the word about a ballot initiative: Help voters understand the often awkwardly worded ballot initiatives and build voters’ confidence in voting and voting early. There are several critical measures on this year’s ballot. Join a team!

Outreach to Voters in Battleground States

  • Postcarding: Start or join a postcard-writing party in your town for specific races around the country where our help is needed most.  Examples: James Talarico TX, Roy Cooper NC, Sherrod Brown OH, etc. Postcard-writing parties are a fun and productive way to engage your friends and make a difference!

  • Phone banking: Technology has made phone banking incredibly productive. We can connect you with phone banks for campaigns across the country. They’re taking place every day! There’s always a leader to guide you through the process – and refreshers for experienced volunteers.

Local Voter Outreach

  • Voter Registration efforts - A huge voter turnout will be key to stopping the Trump regime from overturning the results of the election. Email us or sign up below to join some ongoing voter registration efforts or to learn about how you can help lead additional efforts.

  • Raise awareness of upcoming elections - Hand out simple cards featuring the GoVoteColorado website and encouraging people to vote. Keep a stash with you and hand them out wherever you go!

  • Distribute registration signs at local businesses. Download Signs

Additional Opportunities

  • Serve as an Election Judge 

  • Serve as a Poll Watcher

  • Write a Letter to the Editor about the importance of voting. (We can help!)

  • Create Content and/or post on our Social Media platforms

  • Help create local Ballot Guides — We plan to create a straightforward and informative guide(s) to help people feel confident voting and voting early!
